Pockets and ankle hems done. Didn’t bother to buy matching thread just used up so light blue -it was always going to be quick and dirty #visiblemending. The embroidery stars for the holes are harder that I hoped on the stretchy fabric but that’s next. Pockets a little smaller than planner but will take a tissue which was the only real requirement!

What a good question. It’s probably about hashtagS, and labelling of what the practice is. Knitters knit etc.

Now I’m curious to know what others find helpful. I follow people more than hashtags, and then when I find someone’s making something I notice if they’re sharing it to a hashtag and I’ll amble in that direction.

#compostodon for people making something of waste is one you might not think of. And I notice the makers of #solarpunk and the #visiblemending community.

#ScribesAndMakers 9/25. How would you describe your #fashion sense?

I don't follow #trends and I don't let anyone tell me what to wear. It has to be comfortable, made from natural fibres. I mostly buy second-hand and I love #upcycling and #visibleMending.

Sometimes I wear boring grey or leggings, sometimes I get compliments like "how dare you at your age!" Then I dare even more: I do love colours! I love jeans.

I should have done this a long time ago, but I only had wool yarn on hand. This bamboo sock yarn is perfect for the purpose. And it doesn't matter if my dyed hair stains them pink!

I have half a mind to decorate the top of the headphones with the same yarn, but I don't know what motif... My embroidery skills are limited. Anyone have ideas? #visiblemending #repaircafe

One more flower. This one is crocheted and then i stitched a little bead to the middle and embroidered around it. It's like a pink daffodil now.

I also did another small repair on the jeanshorts of Loa's. I love how perfect this became. I'm getting more control of my stitches I think?

Nice. I embroidered two little flowers on the other shoe.
They're hugging! There will be a purple patch on the toe cap so i left space for the patch. I'll probably add more flowers to the shoe once the patch is on.
