This is a shot in the dark, but if anyone knows anyone who's writing about or conducted some studies about how popular music today expresses the logic of authoritarianism I'd be really grateful if they could mention it.

Adorno is ever the obvious choice but I was hoping for contemporary observations, as the scene has changed quite a bit since the 50s.
