Avevamo ragione, come sempre, nel comunicare che fino ad Aprile 2026 il chat control sarebbe tornato a massacrarci l'esistenza! A molti di voi potrebbe non interessare ma consegnare i nostri dati a Big Tech, far indebolire la cifratura dei certificati ssl e stravolgere le regole per un controllo di massa anche no!

De Tweede Kamer stemt morgen over een motie die het kabinet verzoekt om woensdag tegen een voorstel van EU-voorzitter Denemarken over chatcontrole te stemmen. Het voorstel maakt vrijwillige chatcontrole permanent en biedt de mogelijkheid dit op een later moment te verplichten. @chatcontrol 😱 No! This isn't really happening! Where did this sudden change come from?! Why do I feel like with each day the pressure increases, it only seems to get better, when in reality, it's getting worse?!

There was a moment when I was certain that when Denmark withdrew the idea, that was the end of these stupid ideas for this term. It never occurred to me that it was really just a cover to try to push it through in some less obvious way. I didn't think they'd stoop to such tactics.

But I'll say what I always say in such cases: We have to fight! We have to protest! ✊ We can't let this get through! Because if it does, there will be no point in protecting privacy. It scans everything. All of you.

It will destroy all the great communication solutions that I value not only for privacy but also for functionality 💔 It will destroy all of us.

Stemronde over chatcontrole voorlopig geschrapt

De stemronde over chatcontrole die voor 13-14 oktober gepland stond is geschrapt.

Ambassadeurs van de EU-lidstaten kwamen op 8 oktober ’s avonds bijeen om het chatcontrole-wetsvoorstel van de Europese Commissie te bespreken. Na overleg kondigden de ambassadeurs aan dat de recente, door Denemarken voorbereidde, versie van het voorstel op onvoldoende steun kon rekenen.
