However, Chat Control will be back, so let's look at what this law means for everyone, not just here in Europe:

That's the worst part. That this law normally seems bad because it will scan our messages. But the truth is, this law is the devil because it will scan everything

The EU has set measures to save energy and cut gas and electricity bills:
👉 11.7% less energy use in EU by 2030 from 2020 projections
👉 Priority upgrades for households struggling with high energy costs and energy poverty
👉 One-Stop Shops in all EU countries to help renovate homes, lower heating and cooling expenses
By now, all EU countries must have implemented them.
The payoff? €1 spent on energy savings returns €12.

De vertegenwoordiger wijst erop dat het bij het chatcontrole-voorstel gaat om zeer ernstige inbreuken in de persoonlijke levenssfeer. Hierbij baseerde deze zich onder meer op uitspraken van het Europese Gerechtshof over gegevensbewaring. “Het is duidelijk dat privé- en vertrouwelijke uitwisselingen privé moeten blijven,” stelde de vertegenwoordiger.
