I'm totally drained tonight, too. Just like last night. It’s been happening a lot lately. Honestly, I'd take a 20 km walk through nature over hectic days like these any time. With physical fatigue, all you have to do is sit down. But for mental exhaustion? There's not much of a remedy.

Lately, these days have felt unusual, almost suspended in time. Yet, in between the uncertainty and the quiet moments, small and unexpected positives keep showing up.
A conversation that wouldn’t have happened otherwise.
A chance to notice the light on the walls in the afternoon.
The simple relief of hearing someone laugh when you didn’t expect it.
Life at its best.

Until a while ago, hearing the rain made me feel a sense of worry. The roof needed work, and I knew every drop of water would create potential trouble.
Now that it's fixed, hearing the drops fall in the evening while I relax and don't need to go out, gives me a sense of peace, naturalness, and subtle pleasure.
