@mozillaofficial pulling out of it's ass 1.4bn$ for creating an AI rebel alliance but not able to fucking fix #firefox long lasting issues, demanding donations for #thunderbird is once more a reminder that all those year, the #netscape disater DNA is still there deeeply anchored inside that organization.

#firefox and #thunderbird has been left to rot since #AI may provide quick benefit to ther foundation board.

More salt on the wound, they've created a special entity to manage that so called alliance .

#Mozilla / #Firefox is not better the #Google / #Microsoft / #Apple when it came to #browser , it's just a product that may and will be abandonned if something more profitable arise .

You can pride yourself in your dead, skinned #firefox fur, no amount of open sourcing, white knight of the web shit show can excuse the fact the foundation and it's board have been playing us absolute fools over all this time and they only merit to be left forgotten in the same deep abyss that swalllowed #netscape

Open standard was the only way for #Netscape to have a market chance against #Microsoft internet explorer.

Google needed also to not be framed out by microsoft. So they supported Mozilla.

Shortly after snapping this photo in 2017 I tossed the product in the trash, which I regret. I took the photo as I got a sense the artifact had some historical significance, but I wasn't into retrocomputing yet and didn't realize the importance of preserving such material.
