Have been messing around with #wine on #FreeBSD .. it doesn't seem to run a certain game. I noticed its launcher is patching a .DLL in memory and it looks like FreeBSD doesn't allow this (which is probably a great security feature) but it's breaks the game. Any ideas on how to fix?

I wish there was a place with an explanation of all the knobs and dials in FreeBSD's sysctl, loader.conf etc
