I've finished setting up my own #peertube instance and I'm beating myself why I didn't do it earlier! It's as easy as doing a website, and I now have total control over my videos, and can install plugins to customize it. (Like annotations similar to YouTube cards). If you are a #filmmaker with regular uploads, it makes a lot of sense to set up your own peertube.

This crowdfunding thing, where platforms accept money from all over the world but only people based in certain countries can create campaigns, has bugged me a lot, so I wrote about it some more, wondering if it is a symptom of the colonial economic system that ensures money flows in only one direction.
