Ok people I hear you: you want a photo of Duck in the datacenter. While I can't give you the original I can give you a realistic video re-enactment!
I've tried to stay accurate but was limited to available materials in my home workshop. Most obvious change is that one of our chicken (a hen, to stay as close to reality as possible) is cosplaying as Duck. Otherwise I think we've captured the datacenter setting rather well.

The Machine was my 13th Amiga related cosplay. The design is my interpretation that mixes the character’s appearance in the intros of Turrican 2 & 3 with inspiration from other sources, mainly the classic Borg.
This is my biggest costume project to date: it took me 980 crafting hours over 1 year. There was no 3D printing involved, just manual armour making with EVA foam and making use of a whole lot of bits and pieces like old computer chips and cellphone parts.
The Turrican helmet prop is from my 2nd Turrican suit that I made back in 2016.
The photo was taken by void256 and edited by me.

Gotta model & print some elytra that I can just glue down to the jacket 🤔 These wings are fragile and no good for gatherings! Unfortunately, omitting them completely would reduce the already-small pool of dorks who'd recognize it.

Step 1: make a roller derby panty for my bike helmet. Fuck it, actually make two so I can…
Step 2: make one large eyeball and seven small eyeballs so the panty can be reversible because I’m extra af.
I had cut the irises and pupils as perfect circles (I have an accuquilt for the literal only purpose of cutting perfect circles) and then decided to use the flower shape for the pupils so it’s slightly irregular and looks not-quite-right. Then hand stitched the pupils to the irises to enhance the irregularity. Next will be sewing them onto the panty, hemming it, and it’ll be done.

I’m on my way to Amiga40 🥳
I managed to finish The Machine as well as 2 other new Amiga related costumes on time. However, there wasn’t enough time to try on all the finished pieces of The Machine and take pictures of the cosplay. The final look will therefore be a surprise to everyone, including myself.
