🚩give in to industry demands and delay the implementation of essential protections.
4/4 The #DigitalOmnibus proposals - and the overall #deregulation agenda - panders to corporate and #BigTech interests, rather that prioritising people and communities. The European Commission is failing in its duty to protect us ❌
✊🏾 We urge the European Council and Parliament to reject this attempt at dismantling the EU’s digital rights framework, and instead focus on strong, consistent enforcement.

These attempts, especially in light of the growing trend of #deregulation of #FundamentalRrights and environmental protection, could undermine accountability and hard-won rights for people, the planet, justice and democracy 🚨
