Update seven weeks after my surgery.
I got my check-up with my surgeon. The bone is fully recovered. All my pain and discomfort are only muscular. So I need to keep doing my reeducation exercises.
I have small osteoporosis due to lack of sun and my vegetarian diet since 2010. So vitamin D supplements, and I will get a check-up next summer.
Now it is confirmed, I'm a titanium cyborg.

After 2 weeks back to swimming, I was able to reach 1000 meters today. Enjoying my sunbath now, after the efforts 😎
Next week I have a plan to do 30 km on my road bike.

Last week, I started swimming: 500 meters of swimming, 1 km of walking with a cane, and climbing and descending 12 floors without a cane. Is this a new sport combined with the Olympic or Paralympic Games? ☺️
After, I was walking better without a cane in my apartment. I will do it multiple times a week!

I’m surprised at how quickly my recovery is progressing, especially with less than 10% of the prescribed opioids.
The opioid crisis and this document really scare me. In the first week after my accident, I quickly decided it was better to stay connected to my body.
I believe it was a good decision ❤️🩹

Update 24 days after my surgery
This is my first short ride on my commute bicycle with my can attached (just in case). The only challenge is climbing my recovery leg over the bike at the start and end.
Just 10 km because I’m reasonable, now :-)

So I was quiet after my 200 km ride because it stopped after falling after 161 km while changing direction on gravel on the road. Impossible to stand up due to extreme pain in my left leg. I called 911 and the ambulance picked me up.
After Xray I got confirmation of a broken femur. I got chiurgy yesterday. À this morning, I was able to standing with 2 person help.
