#KDE #Plasma on #postmarketOS turned my Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro tablet into a laptop replacement. I've been using this for #OpenRGB development when out and about due to its smaller size and way better battery life and I've been very happy with it. The only real downside is performance, but with #OpenVPN and a decent connection I can use #waypipe to remotely use one of my Arch desktops for the more demanding things like compiling.

Call for testing for a script that installs #KDE #PLASMA on a #FreeBSD desktop or laptop. Testing is aimed at users who already know FreeBSD, for example who can configure /etc/rc.conf and /boot/loader.conf.

#Guix version 1.5.0 released just in time for #FOSDEM

If it's your year of the #Linux #desktop then this release has #KDE #Plasma 6.5. If you're more into #GTK there's #GNOME 46 which defaults to #wayland

Of course there's lots of other desktop window managers and applications in Guix.

More than 12,500 packages were added, keeping Guix in the top-ten biggest distributions according to Repology!
