Switched to using #pangolin to expose all my #selfhosted services through the internet (with an auth layer). Very sleek. Easy to set up. Open source. Completely under your control. Just requires a (small) VM (mine is on #hetzner) to deploy. Uses #wireguard behind the scenes. https://pangolin.net/
Who are the Hetzner + Coolify folks here? I've been hearing positive things about this combination.
Asking because I want to consolidate hosting for at least two (static) websites and one Django website; preferably auto-deployed from Codeberg. Located in the GDPR area is a must.
One kicker: I am not an infra person. I can navigate Docker well enough to meet my needs, but server management is not my strong suit.
Would love to hear your experiences!

Goal of doing this is learning and hands on experience, but also get the infrastructure ready to launch some hosted #SilverBullet related services hopefully soon.
Also my goal is to do this with as little cloud vendor specific infrastructure so that it’s potentially portable. I think with all of big tech (running all significant clouds) getting more and more problematic this a good approach.
That said #Hetzner is absurdly affordable and EU based.
**Is there someone who currently has a dedicated server via #Hetzner?
I have tried using volumes for the database but unfort the read/write speed was too low so Mastodon did not function right
Our current database size is almost 1TB
