Yes, I did vibe this together, no that does not mean I used #AI, I just read the docs. AND I happily wrote a #PHP script too on the receiving end.

The whole AI-fication of Google makes it however so hard to find the OG docs and some good quality examples.

Have both #shelly and #tplink . Highly recommend shelly. Not cloud required, perfect integration, updates and native #mqtt integration

For shutters/lights I am using #shelly relays (concealed installation in the walls). I am running #esphome on them but with the stock firmware they can also be used fully locally over WLAN.

For windows/doors I am using cheap #zigbee sensors that you can stick to the frame. A good Zigbee USB stick is around 30 EUR. I have also added several #zigbee relays in strategic places to make the network more robust. Also all fully local using #zigbee2mqtt integration

Das ist echt unpraktisch, wenn der #Shelly in der Wand hinter dem Schalter sitzt. So ein Bluetooth Not-Reset wäre praktisch 🙄
