Il primo concerto di Ozzy e dei Black Sabbath in Italia fu a Palermo al Pop Festival del 1971, insieme a Little Tony, Aretha Franklin, i Ricchi e Poveri, Duke Ellington, Tony Scott e Arthur Brown che si denudò sul palco e venne arrestato da Boris Giuliano. I giovani palermitani coi capelli lunghi e le facce dipinte si facevano le canne sul terreno dello stadio La Favorita e ci furono scontri con la polizia. Fu uno dei primi festival rock della storia, poco dopo Woodstock e l'Isola di Wight.

Tra l'altro la madre di Tony Iommi, la signora Valenti, era palermitana, quindi la madre dell'heavy metal è palermitana.

It makes me sad that there are so many AI videos and audios of Ozzy Osbourne out there now. I don't care if he said the same things in an interview - creating and sharing artificial AI audio or video after someone's death just feels plain disrespectful unless they gave permission while alive. The worst part is you can't always tell the AI-generated ones from the real videos... that's where we're at now with the world.

ok so I admit it's a traumatic memory but my second favorite #ozzy memory is @jdalrymple saving me from a diabetic coma one time listening to Dragonforce play at Ozzfest

my first favorite is Ozzy throwing goats at us when he was walking the crowd that year.

My third favorite memory is security at Great Woods in Mansfield, MA getting shitty with @jdalrymple because they were too fucking dumb to read a Canadian ID expiration date

No surprise that my Ozzy memories intersect with @jdalrymple
