@beandev verwende #Fennec seit einigen Jahren - bin rundum zufrieden.
Leider hat das aktuelle 142.0.0-er Release einen Bug, welcher zur Folge hat, dass oft Websites überhaupt nicht laden:

Am I the only #Fennec user out there? Just updated to the latest F-Droid version and now pages don't load at all (instead of creepingly slow as before).
Anyone else suffering this too?
What to do?
ETA: Somehow recovered to "just" the previous level of slowness.
Egy ideje a #Fennec#FDroid#Firefoxot használom Androidon, de az 142-es verzió óta nem igazán akarja betölteni az oldalakat. Úgy tűnik, valami bug van, mert ha bekapcsolva hagyom a bővítményeket (pl. #uBlock), akkor nem működik, de ha mindet kikapcsolom, akkor simán megy. Viszont #uBlock és társai nélkül nem akarok netezni, még Androidon sem. Most visszaváltottam egy Chromium-alapú böngészőre

Yes, swipe it away and be amazed how on reopen pages won't load. 😢
We got tricks for you:
1️⃣ Instead of swiping the app you use the ❎ Close option. The button appears if you enable "Delete browsing data on quit" in Settings. eg. keep only "Cached images and Files" toggled ON
2️⃣ *No joke* when the page loads and drags on, you just lock the screen. 🤷 On device unlock the page will load. 🎇

Ok my fellow nerds, #fennec, a #Firefox version compiled for #fdroid, doesn't load websites 80% of the time, completely randomly. I searched for solutions and concluded that since nothing works it must be #android itself that nerfs the competing browser.
My question is, how dumb is using something based on WebView, actually? I installed #Fulguris and it's blazing fast, seems to be working 100% of the time. It's open.
Since I have no experience with android development, is WebView chromium in disguise or is it fine? And I opening myself to all of the Google malpractice through it? I wish I could use Fennec but it turns literally useless, when I can't even load wikipedia most of the times.
