I know I’m not a perfect mom, or even a great mom. So I probably shouldn’t be judging others. I haven’t even figured out my parenting style yet. Heck, the kid still shares bed with us. My priority is to keep him safe and reasonably healthy (hey kids don’t always eat well). Anything goes as long as no person is getting hurt and there is a little bit structure and routine #Parenthood
Reading about a Lightning McQueen themed bedroom for a little boy and it is so depressing, I wanna cry on behalf of that boy.
She made everything black, white and grey, because LMQ is tacky. Even though the kid wanted it red.
“…. was again, insisting on making the bed red because duh, Lightning McQueen, mom and dad! But we were adamant at keeping it more neutral-toned. So instead, we tricked him convinced him that he was getting an amazing Jackson Storm bed instead because Jackson Storm’s faster than Lightning McQueen!”
And that’s how you brainwash your kids to root for the bad guys because Jackson Storm is the antagonist in the movie.
The worst thing? She added a “lightning McQueen Bible Verse” poster. Like WTF?!? #parenthood
According to my kid, everyone is brown! I’m in so much trouble 🙂🫠 #parenthood

The kid has a hard time trying new things but we managed to watch “Emperor’s New Groove” this evening and he rated it 5/5. I’m taking that as a huge win cause it’s one of my favorite movies #parenthood
