I found another Dice Waltz program, this time for the Atari ST (The Dice Waltz, by Chris Earnshaw). Its user interface is quirky, even by the standard of programs written in GfA BASIC. I couldn't get the soundchip output to record at the right speed, but it can generate MIDI files, so I overlaid that on a screenshot

How could I have missed it?
The Atari ST is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year! 🎂 🥳 🎉 (released in June 1985)
One of my favorite machines and so many good memories on my Atari 520 ST 🥰
Then I discovered FastCopy... and lots of other games! 💾 😇
My father and I still bought games from time to time (Journey to the Center of the Earth, King's Quest III, Zak McKracken, Future Wars for example)
🧵 3/
If my memory serves me correctly, I think the first Atari ST game my father bought was Space Station 🚀
I also remember owning Crafton & Xunk, Starglider, Captain Blood, Elite and others (see screenshots)
Do you remember your first games on Atari ST? 😀

The Atari ST hits 40: we remember Atari’s 16-bit micro and six of its best games
I’m sure there will be 100% agreement with the chosen titles, as ever. :D
Llamatron, Dungeon Master, Midi-Maze,
but then:
Sundog
The Blues Brothers
Lemmings
Xenon
Barbarian
Universe II
Falcon
I never cared what came out on Amiga.

Hello everyone!
Yesterday I released my many years in the making Atari ST game.
"Galactic Panic: A Questionable Adventure" is a lighthearted point-and-click game, payable in English and French.
It should work on any ST, STE or Falcon030. A HDD is required!
Get it from https://insert-studio-name.itch.io/galactic-panic
It's free! Donations are welcome though.
