1. I spent a very enjoyable two hours yesterday coppicing willow and collecting whips for basket weaving, in the company of a lovely group of people. I enjoyed it so much I am going back soon to do it again.
2. Today I am having coffee with a fellow Glaswegian photographer who I haven't met before so that we can talk about zines.
3. I'm cooking fillet steak with chestnut mushrooms and peppercorn sauce for dinner tonight!

Being able to begin to describe the challenges in my life to people who care
People who care
A balance between avoidance and attraction to strike.
Today I received the coolest, most thoughtful gift. Twice.
My day started out when a friend traveled from far far away, and dropped by to bring me a package on behalf of @anyia, whom they had just visited.
It was a beautiful *handmade* puzzle box, with three interesting locks built into it, and a *four-page* letter of appreciation—the amount of effort they put into making me feel special is extraordinary 🥰
---
Then, a couple hours later, a package arrived from my girlfriend. Inside were two lever locks. One from the 1830s, and one from the 1920s that is stamped with "Mastodon" 🥰 The 4-lever lock is now the oldest I'm my collection, and the Mastodon lock is the first 8-lever lock in my collection.
---
And finally, a couple hours after the package arrived from my girlfriend, I got to meet a new friend from Mastodon in person for the first time—which was its own present 🥰
---
So today I got to add five unique new locks, several good memories, and a new friend to my collections.
It was a good frickin' day 💝

#threegoodthings to end the weekend.
1. Chaired the lived experience panel for the annual trans and friends festival in our regional city, and as ever we all learned that community is the key
2. My adult children being each other’s siblings in loyal and loving ways
3. Jacarandas and flame trees, just wild.
#threegoodthings NSFW version:
1. Making my Dom happy and proud of me
2. Being allowed to order some items online for play
3. Climaxing 5 times🔥
- Got out for a walk
2. Didn't get rained on

I think I can do #ThreeGoodThings today, weird.
1 finished and invoiced for the work that's taken a chunk of summer.
2 Caught up with friends at my regular pub night.
3 Bilbao (eta Bizkaia) made la Vuelta look absolutely wrecked internationally by enforcing #BDS against genocide, from below.
1. Biked to a part of town that's new to me to make some new friends
2. Saved a knit sweater at a #RepairCafe in our community #makerspace
3. Spent time with a family that lives a couple blocks from us and are starting a #BikeBus with us this fall
Felt like a nice #SolarpunkSunday 🥰

Last beer for the night, here.
1) I rolled some code today, first time in three weeks, which gap is a serious health flag for me, so that's a good thing.
2) Interesting convos last night and tonight leading me ever so slowly towards a thicker formulation & explication of why what I do when I'm coaching isn't actually woo-woo at all, but pragmatic and rational.
3) Tomato season is upon us here, and it's my favorite time of year.

My neighbor came over last night to introduce themselves and deliver fresh bread with a heartwarming card.
Today, I invited them over for tea and we talked for hours.
(Fun fact: their (adult) kid is the partner of that beautiful orange-haired trans girl I mentioned seeing a while back, but didn't get a chance to invite to our party because they vanished by the time I got my shoes on and ran outside—now I know where they disappeared to 😋)
