Raglan is a madhouse today. Traffic everywhere. Cars parked on everything near the center. Huge utes with massive trailers parked on everything near the boat ramps.
I hate how we yield our town to these vehicles. Cliff Street is one of the nicest parts of town, grass and Pohutukawa overlooking the harbour but you can't enjoy it because it's covered in vehicles.
Anyway, while it can't fix all these problems my electric scooter cuts through the madness, carries my dry goods shopping under its seat and can find a park anywhere. This is a wonderful toy for days like today :)

My grandma has been walking around my favorite Berlin streets with me for 2 days and without me saying anything she picked up on how few cars there are, vs the huge number of bikes & pedestrians. She legit can't stop talking about it and I think I might have accidentally created a radical anti-car activist 😂
