"Fresh off his thorough victory over CBS News, President Trump is taking aim at ABC and NBC.

" 'Why is it that ABC and NBC FAKE NEWS, two of the absolute worst and most biased networks anywhere in the World, aren't paying Millions of Dollars a year in LICENSE FEES,' Trump wrote on Truth Social last night. "They should lose their Licenses for their unfair coverage of Republicans and/or Conservatives, but at a minimum, they should pay up BIG for having the privilege of using the most valuable airwaves anywhere at anytime!!! Crooked ' #journalism' should not be rewarded, it should be terminated!!!'

"While Trump's many threats to revoke broadcaster licenses have never led to any actual license revocations, the CBS developments show how he can use the government to influence operations at news organizations. CBS owner #Paramount recently inked a $16 million settlement with Trump and then agreed to install a '#BiasMonitor' in order to gain Federal Communications Commission [#FCC] approval of an $8 billion merger with #Skydance. Now Trump is turning his attention to ABC and NBC."

A Trump adviser also said they’d seen it, and that as a longtime fan of the series, they found it 'disappointing.' [Who cares!]

"Trump recently secured a hefty payout from Paramount to settle his meritless lawsuit against CBS News’ 60 Minutes, based on his claims that the show selectively edited an interview with former Vice President Kamala Harris, his 2024 opponent, to 'make her look better.' The agreement is part of a broader pattern of major corporations settling Trump’s baseless lawsuits, agreeing to shovel millions of dollars into his presidential library fund () to accommodate the president.

"The Paramount settlement comes as the firm seeks regulatory approval for its merger with Skydance — and appears to contain more than just a payout to Trump’s library fund. Potere senza vergogna e senza limiti: la Paramount pagherà 16 milioni di dollari a Trump per l'intervista di "60 Minutes"

In un caso che è diventato un banco di prova molto seguito per verificare se un'azienda avrebbe sostenuto i suoi giornalisti e tenuto testa al presidente Donald #Trump, la Paramount Global ha deciso di pagare a Trump 16 milioni di dollari per chiudere una causa riguardante il montaggio del famoso programma di notizie "60 Minutes" della CBS.

Il problema era il montaggio della trasmissione. Harris è stata mostrata mentre forniva due risposte diverse a una domanda su Israele del corrispondente Bill #Whitaker in clip trasmesse su "60 Minutes" e "Face the Nation". Entrambe le risposte facevano parte di una lunga e articolata risposta che Harris ha dato a Whitaker.

La @freedomofpress , un gruppo di difesa dei media che si dichiara azionista della Paramount, ha dichiarato che avrebbe intentato una causa per protesta se si fosse raggiunto un accordo.
