It works for all IPv6 !

Now I have find up to date #Solaris/#illumos/OmniOS documentation to set up this new server with the same features than my current #FreeBSD one.

On this weekend the BIG hacker's festival, named "ChaosConstructions" is starting!

https://chaosconstructions.ru/

There are should be a lot of retro tech: #SunMicrosystem servers, some old #DEC stuff, #SunOS (or #Solaris ) terminals, PCs from Win95/98 era, etc. All hardware is working drgn_happy

I was on the festival in the last year. Some photos from this festival are here: https://eugene-andrienko.com/photo/2024/09/01/summer-photos-2024.html (section "Computers").

So, on the next week(s) you (my subscribers) will be flooded by the photos of the various retro tech, sorry (but no sorry) drgn_happy_blep

The image shows a screenshot of a Wikipedia page about the operating system "Illumos." At the top, there is a black status bar with the time "19:54," battery level "73%," and various icons including a search bar labeled "Search Wikipedia." The main content area features a large red bird logo with the word "Illumos" in the background. Below the logo, the title "Illumos" is displayed in white text, followed by a subtitle stating it is a "Free software operating system based on Solaris." The main text describes Illumos as a partly free and open-source Unix operating system developed since 2010, based on OpenSolaris after its discontinuation by Oracle. It includes a kernel, device drivers, system libraries, and utility software for system administration. The bottom of the screen shows navigation options such as "Save," "Language," "Find in article," "Theme," and "Contents."

Trying Tribblix tonight, a Solaris 10-inspired Illumos distribution: http://tribblix.org/

First little hurdle was the libvirt disk not supported, switching to virtual SATA disk fixed that.

Loved the installation process. Pretty much: "Formatting, copying root filesystem. Want a receipt?"
