Storm/lightning experts, I need your help! What is this phenomenon?

A bolt of lightning is slowly moving across the sky. Each frame of this video slideshow is 8 seconds, so the lightning is visible for over a minute! I've never seen anything like it!

Back to the laundromat today because I still don't have a washing machine and can't afford one.
