@johncarlosbaez @cstross It’s a wild ride. I highly recommend a book called The Founders about the origins of PayPal. There’s a silly SciFi book series I enjoy Backyard Starship one of the villains is a transhumanist who meets his grisly end as an insane brain inside a grotesque spider like cyborg. I also find the #Techbro obsession with Trans people odd, when they are quite comfortable with transhumanism & as for how they reconcile transhumanism with Christianity 🤷‍♂️
