This year I'm doubling down on what I really want to write, like the #WomenInTechBook for which I already did 23 interviews with women in tech jobs in 2024 and which I had to pause for other people's projects – like basically all of my own books except 2042 and the data privacy book. I still want to make the #Kickstarter campaign for it to pay the editors, one for the English and one for the German version. I hope to also revive some of the other things in my drawer. #Feminism
Then there is my #dataprivacy longseller "Dann haben die halt meine Daten. Na und?!" which I'm updating about every one and a half years – at least in German. With lots and lots of practical how-tos for securing one's computer and phone, using encryption etc. And a hands-on approach on explaining, why all that matters. The updated English version, "Easy Ways to be More Private on the Internet", is overdue and I hope to finalise it this spring. #NaUndDasBuch #PrivacyBook

Anyone ever backed a #kickstarter and found nearly a 40% add on "tax" required before a product will ship? It had already closed and we had already paid for it. Was only expecting $20 for shipping as disclosed. Very annoyed. Now trying to figure out how to cancel.
