Today's Mathtober prompt is "Wheel", which reminded me of a color wheel. So I went with a ring of penguins in rainbow colors for today's drawing.

I used HedgeDoc for writing my paper/talk for the upcoming Patterns conference, and now I want it for everything I write! I'm gonna have to figure out how to do that, because it felt so freeing to write a doc in markdown, and it rendered nicely.

Yes, I'm presenting my talk remotely, and I'll be talking about Chemistry and Biochemistry influence so much of my artwork.

#ReleaseMonday — New version (v0.27.0) of https://thi.ng/genart-api, a platform-independent extensible API for browser-based computational/algorithmic/generative art projects:

This version features an overhaul of the platform provided PRNG (pseudo-random number generator) handling and makes it easier to create multiple PRNGs for artworks which require/desire them...

Also, just as a reminder, the project has:

- no external dependencies
- adapters for 3 art platforms (EditArt, fxhash, Layer)
- 6 example projects
- testing/dev sandbox with two parameter editors
- WebAssembly bindings & demo (currently for #Zig only)
