What we've seen in MN with middle class white folks putting themselves in harms way to protect their neighbors shows the spirit of what should serve as our path forward. The extension of empathy into action as solidarity. And going forward this is what we need not just in resisting fascism but in all of our efforts.
We need to dig deep for broad #solidarity in recognition that our real power comes from solidarity across all our superficial differences. Our politics should not be based on focus groups, calculations, establishment strategy but simply the value and principle of solidarity in service to all of us, the 99% that is the working class.
