Twee jaar geleden op deze dag werd het Palestijnse meisje Hind Rajab op gruwelijke manier door Israëlische soldaten vermoord.
Ik gedenk haar omdat ik het zo verschrikkelijk oneerlijk vind wat Israel het Palestijnse volk aandoet. Altijd sneuvelt de onschuld het eerst.
Ze was nog maar 5 jaar oud…

Mon mari a besoin d’une intervention chirurgicale, et nous n’avons pas assez pour couvrir les coûts ni les médicaments dont il a besoin après.
En plus, le froid est de plus en plus dur, et mes enfants ont besoin de couvertures chaudes et de vêtements d'hiver pour passer ces nuits glaciales.

Unfortunately, since I launched my appeal, I have only received 50 euros out of the 300 dollars we urgently need.
The situation is critical my husband is ill and awaiting surgery, and my children are shivering from the cold.
I’m still holding on to hope that kind hearts will hear our voice.

FYI there seems to be a wave of spambots posing as Palestinians in need of aid hitting Mastodon instances with open registrations. Right now the biggest tells are rapidly mentioning other users with the same message, a bio indicating that they are verified by "GAZA VETTERS" (this is an organization that verifies users on Tumblr), and a profile and pinned message that usually looks like the one attached below (although I'm expecting this to change). The most recent example that I caught is @/Honny@mas.to though I expect this one to get quickly taken care of.
Please remember to stay vigilant and support actual Palestinians in need, not scammers that might be hiding behind spambots. https://gaza-verified.org is a great place to get started; it's a non-exhaustive list of fediverse accounts that they have verified.
