Sociopaths never mature - they remain (evil) children for life. It's not wise to give such people power, because they are immature, sadistic, and narcissistic. They appeal to nonsociopaths whose moral values are...loose.

Oddly enough, this is what 'primitive' tribes used to do: kill the sociopaths. We promote them to the highest positions of power.

Those men executing children and mothers are sociopaths. The Americans chose a sociopath as a leader, so they're unlikely to help. Europe is threatened by a Russian sociopath. China is ruled by a sociopath. We 99% wake up and rise up or it's over. We're over.
