A late morning walk at high tide today along Seaburn Promenade, Sunderland in NE England.
Could have done with my sunglasses heading into brilliant sunshine, the sun really low in the sky.
Today, where I live, the sun will set at its most southerly point of 228° and will continue to do so until 30 December, when it begins to set a little further north with each passing day.
In addition, sunset is 15.37 and it will continue setting at that time until 17 December, when the evenings finally begin to get lighter once again – good news if you are longing for light.

Another photo looking towards the same wind farm; a beach in north Wales on a sunny day.
Just five weeks into the season of spring and an early taste of 'summer' today. Warm enough to embrace an enjoyable barefoot paddle along our local Blue Flag award-winning coast at Seaburn in Sunderland.
Really good to feel the sand between the toes again!
