Israeli Diaspora Minister Amichai Chikli met with France’s National Rally leaders Jordan Bardella (February 2025) and Marine Le Pen (May 2024) - a party founded in 1972 by Holocaust denier Jean-Marie Le Pen and former Nazi Waffen-SS commander Pierre Bousquet - and Spain’s #Vox leaders Santiago Abascal and Hermann Tertsch (whose father was an Austrian Nazi leader in Spain), a party that has fielded neo-Nazi candidates and a Holocaust denier, while Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar instructed diplomats in February 2025 to establish formal ties with these parties plus the Sweden Democrats, which has roots in Sweden’s neo-Nazi and white nationalist movements, effectively ending Israel’s longstanding boycott of parties with #fascist and #antisemitic origins.

It was wonderful to run on the frozen Old Danube in Vienna today. I followed all the branches in the lower part. Especially when you are familiar with swimming there, it is an astonishing experience to simply run on the water.

So Austria has changed its systems for online logins to remove all the legacy options, without telling anyone, which means I have to get round to getting the ID Austria app, something for which the online system won't give me an appointment until June despite the fact the place I'd need to get the appointment has open public office hours on a regular basis and it's a sub-ten-minute job.
