Just launched Lazy Cats, a visual exploration of cat behaviour.
Meet Lily + 27 other cats and find out what they do all day (spoiler: they mostly chill) 🐱🐾 Does your cat fit their profile?

Very proud to share my first interactive #dataviz project built with #Svelte + #D3! 📊 It's been quite a learning curve coming from #python but found super helpful tutorials by Matthias Stahl and Connor Rothschild. Links in this repo https://github.com/Lisa-Ho/d3-playground.

Free advertisement: I'm looking for a web dev job while getting into Svelte(kit), and fearing that I'll have to go back to React+Next (which I studied at a 6 month bootcamp.) Svelte seems to much *simpler* among other good things. I'm already rehearsing how to strategically try to influence a company to switch...

Spent the last couple days brushing up on web dev, specifically data back and forth / forms.
3 nodes (db, backend, frontend) -> 2 edges = double edge case.
Piping data back and forth, with 1 node being unknowable + error communication is damn complex!
Hey Mastodon,
Any developers out there who 1) cares about US democracy and 2) knows #Svelte?
Couple of questions...thanks.

Anyone happen to be looking for a programmer who hasn't been completely consumed by all-AI-everything by any chance? Freelance or hired, remote (based in Germany). I speak German and English and mostly worked with #PHP, #Laravel, #Kirby CMS, #Vue, #Svelte and a bit of native mobile dev (Swift and Kotlin), too.
I know the chances are slim given everything in the world, but maybe this time #getfedihired might work out? Boost super appreciated. Feel free to DM or email at skye@lavenderbits.com
