This is my son, Ibrahim. Here, in our home, now reduced to dust, he used to dance on his bed, filling the room with innocent laughter, untouched by war. That laughter was our true shelter... and that bed was his safe haven. Today, the scene has changed. Ibrahim no longer has a bed or a room. We sleep in a cold tent, sharing a little warmth and a little fear. The difference between the video and the reality of the tent is the difference between a childhood that should be lived and a childhood that was stolen. To every compassionate heart watching this video: We are not asking for a palace, but for a simple right for Ibrahim: a safe place to lay his little head and rebuild his shattered dreams.
