Edit: I'm wrong. I just realized this is the park on 17th Street in Potrero Hill in San Francisco where friends of mine hold a picnic and kickball game dedicated to Billy Carter. The photo must be from July 4, 2025.

The dog's exact breed mix is a mystery, but she loves being held like a baby, as my mom is doing, her hands clasped over the dog's pink belly. Ruby's front paws are folded over mom's arm, and her eyes are closed in satisfaction.
