Afternoon update: @LukeOrion and I are now at $230 of our $575 goal to keep staying sheltered. Due to the current hotel having a 28 day stay limit and also not allowing any animals, we are planning on leaving when our reservation ends tomorrow morning and going to an Extended Stay hotel that’s a couple doors up the block. The cost per week is similar and we would actually be able to bring our two cats inside with us again. We’ve been having to keep them in our RV (we check on them and are out there multiple times a day). Now we can bring them inside before it gets dangerously cold out.

12/15 Evening update: adjusted the total. We needed to get a cooler so we didn't waste the frozen food we have (including a whole ice cream birthday cake I was sent today). We still have enough to cover three nights. and are at $249 of the $381 we would need by tomorrow morning to be able to secure a whole week inside.
