At least 12 Palestinians, half of them children, have been killed in the Gaza Strip since dawn, a day before the #Rafah crossing is due to reopen.

An Israeli air strike on Saturday on a tent sheltering displaced people in the al-Mawasi area to the northwest of Khan Younis city killed at least seven Palestinians, including three children, medical sources told Al Jazeera.

Two weeks have passed since I posted a photo of the weekly pot-banging demonstration, but that doesn't mean it wasn't happening. Last Thursday, and the Thursday before I was amongst those protesting against the continuing Israeli genocide of Palestinians at the station in Assen. The "ceasefire" hasn't stopped the killing. Hundreds of Palestinians continue to die at the hands of the Israeli army in Gaza and at the hands of the "settlers" in the West Bank.
This must stop.
There's not a lot of that people living in Western nations can do directly, but we can very easily commit to never buying Israeli goods and services, or those from companies linked to Israel, and by voting for politicians who will try to raise the subject internationally.
