I have inherited a number of #Schneider Netshelter Input Metered PDUs, model number APDU10150ME
I do not have the login credentials for them, and the default credentials (admin/12345678) don't work.
I cannot figure out how to factory reset them. There's a reset button on the front panel, but all that does is restart the NMC.
Does anyone know how to factory reset this specific device?

The device documentation only mentions a full reset via serial console...which requires valid login credentials as far as I can tell #datacentre #Schneider
Well, our support partner came up with the goods, and I can't find this online or in any official documentation.
You need to put a copy of the default config on a USB stick and upload it to the device locally. This resets the device to its default state.
I don't have a USB stick with me in the DC today, so I'll give this a try tomorrow.
Interestingly, the supplied default config file appears to be binary 🤔

Ces derniers jours j'ai eu plusieurs discussions concernant les services à développer dans le #datacentre dit de l'UNIF ( @unif). En réalité un datacentre public communautaire – avec des collectivités et autres organismes publics —, en Île-de-France, labellisé enseignement supérieur et recherche par le ministère #ESR du moment, dans lequel je participe à installer des établissements supérieurs.
J'ai envie de faire participer qui voudra à la réflexion en vous en parlant un peu ici.
