I'm going for my surgery consolation this week and i'm nervous as hell I'll admit! But there's nothing more than I want for my surgeries to be completed so I can live a better life instead of being in constant pain.

If you don't know me, then allow me to introduce myself. I'm Kaz! I'm an 18 year old trans guy living in California. I have bilateral cleft lip and palate which also affects my jaw. My parents lacked the medical attention I needed as a child which has made my surgeries very delayed and come with more risks. I'm finally at a point of being able to go to my first surgery which will transition into the second. I won't be allowed to work during these periods as I need to let my body rest and recover. I only work 2 days a week at minimum wage so I won't be able to pay for this surgery at all with what I'm working with, along with cover the food I'll need since I won't be able to eat solids.

I've made a GoFundMe to help with my surgery needs, whatever that isn't used from the GoFundMe will be donated to #MutualAids here on Fediverse.

A couple of weeks ago, I asked for help for my friend down in Australia who is having some serious issues finding a job after losing her old one. With the help of several generous people here, she has managed to stay afloat a little longer!

Unfortunately, she's still having issues.

She's been applying for every job in her area--fast food, dog grooming, general IT work--and is struggling to get callbacks despite her pretty wide range of skills. Her situation has us both baffled.

In the meantime, however, she could use some help with her rent and bills so she doesn't lose her home and her animals.

She's been my friend for over a decade. I've seen her prioritize everyone else over herself so many times. She's such a good person and I hate to see her going through this.

Mastodon is a wonderful community of very generous people. You all have helped me so much over the past couple of years, and now, I'm going to beg you to help a dear friend.

Isabeau lives in Australia. She lost her job few weeks ago, and has been applying to every place that is taking applications--everything from dog grooming to fast food to IT work.

She has a few leads, and is SO CLOSE to securing employment, but her savings have run out.

She just needs to cover a couple of weeks of rent, and have food for her animals. All of her furry babies are rescues, most of which were initially scheduled to be put down, but she gave them a new chance at a life of love.

I seriously cannot express how much good this woman has put into the world, and now I'm hoping the world will return some of that good.

Update: My last account got banned off kolektiva.social for the same reasons my ni.hil.ist account got banned (posting mutual aid). This new ban hit me hard as the kolektiva.social admins refused to allow me to move my followers to this account (even ni.hil.ist had the decency to allow me to move my account first before deleting), and so as a result i lost my one and only mutual aid network and now have to start from scratch.

If you have the money, please donate. I need the money urgently to afford food and clothing and other basic necessities. If you dont donate nobody else will because sadly nobody on this app gives a shit about impoverished abused trans people. Seriously i need the help urgently.
