In seiner Keynote weist Maximilian Steinbeis @maxsteinbeis darauf hin, dass Populismus auf dem Vormarsch ist und v. a. Wissensorganisationen im Fadenkreuz sind. Ziel ist es, diese Organisationen zu unterwerfen und sie zu einem Instrument zur Bestätigung totalitärer Bestrebungen zu machen.

The pandemic didn't just increase the use of #OpenAccess research in medicine, including #preprints. It also increased the impact of research about #OA and #ScholComm.
"The pandemic provided a substantial boost to the impact of research [as measured by field-weighted citation impact or #FWCI] related to information seeking and scholarly communication. This may be largely driven by an increased need for accessible information, marking a significant shift in academic priorities after the global crisis."
