That is important since the AMOC may be approaching a #tippingpoint.

New research shows Earth’s energy imbalance has more than doubled in the past 20 years, from 0.6 to 1.3 watts per square metre. That means heat is accumulating twice as fast as before. And it’s worse than most climate models predicted.
