I've been looking into degoogling a bit. It's not going well. I'm experimenting with Nextcloud, currently with the specific small goal of switching from Google Keep to Nextcloud Notes. The Android App for this is so bad. I want to like this but it's so hard.

They have a Mastodon acct, but not looking for their opinion of themselves :)
Friend asked about them due to macworld article with promotion essentially 1/4 of what Internxt lists on the site
Open source, but looks like it depends on specific clients rather than using Sync and Share standard Nextcloud created

Wer zum DiDay eine Alternative zu iCloud, Drive, etc sucht, sollte sich mal die Magentacloud der Telekom ansehen. Dabei handelt es sich um eine Nextcloud, die gebrandet aber ansonsten den gleichen Funktionsumfang wie das Original besitzt. Der "Nextcloud Desktop-Client" kann genutzt werden, um die Daten mit dem Rechner zu synchronisieren. Selbstverständlich geht das auch mit dem Handy
Mit einem Telekom Konto hast du bereits 25 GB Speicher frei, der nach Bedarf erweitert werden kann.
Die Server stehen in DE.

For example - "This OpenStack-based private cloud has been in the works for years. Looking ahead, NUBO is building a Kubernetes-based cloud. Once completed, the French ministry plans to create or contribute to a sovereign Kubernetes distribution"

Is there an easy way to automount #NextCloud?
After connecting it through the #GNOME Settings, I would like the storage to be automounted.
Currently, it only mounts on demand when I try to access it via Nautilus.

However I've seriously been lacking motivation lately, with a lot of things (not been the best of years so far ).
Would it benefit many people if I wrote a tutorial for this install ?
