Having spent thousands of dollars on Cobra, only to have Kaiser terminate my account without notice or warning, and back-date the termination to December, I called Kaiser. It took 54 minutes to speak to someone, who could not resolve this issue. I have been waiting to speak to someone who may be able to resolve my issue for 71 minutes now.

Some guy named Luigi is back in court today in NYC.
Topic of the hearing is the admissibility of illegally obtained "evidence" during the textual stop at a Pennsylvania McDonald's.
Mangione's lawyers continue to demand that the police actually produce the witnesses who ID'd Luigi.
They also point out how scared these cops are of Luigi looking normal in court. He's so shackled he can't even take notes at trial! 🙃
It's then reported that, Luigi, the guard and most of the courtroom laughed when the guard said he didn't care about reading books.
So anyways, in preparation for this latest round of court showdowns its easy to see everyone involved is trying to improve their image.
Who can blame UHC for all the seasonal prepwork for dropping seniors off their healthcare plans next year. What a way to shutdown the ole' "evil corporation" rumours.
Some updates from court. In Luigi's PA Mc'Ds arrest paperwork the cops who arrested him plainly state that they searched all of his belongings in the actual paperwork to request a search warrant to go through his belonging's.
Which needless to say is not how warrants are supposed to work.
Luigi Mangione is back in court after the judge took Wednesday off from the case.
The judge's day off however turned into a minor legal battle of its own as local journalists who write about court cases were initially barred from accessing certain evidence documents.
It sounds like the judge was convinced to follow typical court processes and release most content to the public.
Reporter Matthew Russell Lee is the journalist who took the judge to task over press freedoms and the public's right to access court documents.
Here's how he describes yesterday's unsealing arguments...

Much like that older Altoona case, this most recent one parallels Luigi's case on the issues of when a person must ID themselves to cops.
In this case the cops were called bc of neighbors arguing(their neighbors karened out and called the cops).
The cops say they showed up "to hear both sides" and some how ended up illegally entering an apartment and beating+arresting a man who was not even involved in the initial report.
Court just let out so there's a lot of updates from reporters OTG to read. One quick update from Inner City Press say the object to the Judge's decision today to seal much of the evidence that's being debated over.
Reporter Matthew Russell Lee says this sealing of records is a violation of press freedom and did not provide a time for journalists to object to being shutout of the evidence.

Day 2 of the Luigi Mangione NYC pre-trial hearings are underway.
A raft of dirty cops are giving statements but before the legal details I hear the most newsworthy part of today's updates will likely be the release of more photos of Luigi at trail.
For some reason the prosecution wants us all to know that Luigi Mangione offered a prison guard a copy of "Doors of Perception" by Aldous Huxley.
So yea that's the update, Luigi overshared to a cop. The cop reported he didn't read the book bc he doesn't care. (notably Luigi wasn't read his rights at this point so we're not sure why this convo is even admissible at all)
For some reason the prosecution thinks this helps wash down their other illegal evidence I guess
It's then reported that, Luigi, the guard and most of the courtroom laughed when the guard said he didn't care about reading books.
So anyways, in preparation for this latest round of court showdowns its easy to see everyone involved is trying to improve their image.

One thing that is really impressive about Luigi Mangione's legal team is that they are actively making the legal process as accessible for the average person to follow as possible.
All of the documents they can publicly release are posted on the website below so you can read pretty much the entire case for yourself.
Love Luigi or hate him this is an important resource to understand how courts and cops operate in practice.

Judge dismisses terrorism charges against Luigi Mangione - BBC News
A judge in New York state has dismissed two terrorism charges against Luigi Mangione, the alleged killer of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
Judge Gregory Carro also ruled second-degree murder charges against Mangione could stand during a hearing on Tuesday morning.
He said prosecutors had failed to establish that there was enough evidence to justify terrorism-related murder charges that they sought against Mangione.
