Almost 10 years ago, I wrote an article about consolidation in movies, and the vertical integration perils of movie studios owning the movie distribution channels.

4 years ago, I republished it, because the trend continued.

Now, the trend keeps going. Not great for the industry or the audience.

🙏🏽RIP to my friend TED LEWIS

Though we only knew each other online, he was a huge inspiration to me. From a USMC '66 veteran to a #photographer, he was a true champion for #community and public access media. I'll always remember his incredible love for life, even doing pushups in his 80s.

✨He truly embodied his own words: "Just a great guy with a sense of humor! And, a desire to achieve, and when and where possible help someone along the road of life!!!"
