Today, Mistral added a Deep Research feature, currently limit to 35 per month in a Pro account (15 dollars). The result looked promising in my tests.

Also:
* speech recognition (something that I missed when using Le Chat on a phone)
* group chats (Project), which could be potentially very useful, but I did not use it yet
* Imagine editing (e.g. generate an image, and then tell it to change the background location).

This is the official announcement:

* Deep Research mode: Lightning fast, structured research reports on even the most complex topics.
* Voice mode: Talk to Le Chat instead of typing with our new Voxtral model.
* Natively multilingual reasoning: Tap into thoughtful answers, powered by our reasoning model — Magistral.
* Projects: Organize your conversations into context-rich folders.
* Advanced image editing directly in Le Chat, in partnership with Black Forest Labs.

It's kind of astonishing and sad at the same time how much money all the big AI companies earn but how bad parts of their UIs are.

A few quick example from the top of my head:

The Claude web UI for example takes multiple seconds to load.
For a simple input interface.

Mistral uses checkboxes for their libraries which are styled like radio buttons. Basic UX mistake.

Are they vibe coding all their frontend code or what?
