One of the countless lives destroyed by the nazis during the #holocaust - Fredy Hirsch was not only a #football player and a coach from #Aachen, but also a #gay man. I recommend having a look at his story in the article linked in the toot below.
11 February 1916 | A German Jew, Fredy Hirsch, was born in Aachen. An athlete & teacher.
Deported to #Auschwitz from the #Theresienstadt ghetto on 6 September 1943. He looked after children in the family camp for Jews from Theresienstadt. He perished in the camp on 8 March 1944.

Also, the added hypocrisy of someone who owns a football club, when most big football clubs have players from all over the world. No immigration? Fine. But all Manchester United players have to be from Manchester, and you can't just buy in good ones from elsewhere.
