“A Paleontologist’s Dream”: The Breakthrough That Changes How We Date #Dinosaurs.
The team applied high-resolution uranium–lead (U–Pb) dating along with elemental mapping to analyze tiny traces of uranium and lead preserved within the calcite structure of fossil dinosaur eggshells

New #pterosaur species discovered in previously overlooked specimen of dinosaur regurgitalite.
The discovery also offers a glimpse into ancient food chains in the region. The regurgitalite is fairly clear evidence of pterosaurs serving as prey to larger dinosaurs.

"certain lichen species preferentially colonize exposed dinosaur bones, creating distinctive spectral signatures that can be detected from 30 m above ground using drones... This likely occurs because the bones provide the alkaline, calcareous, and porous substrates the lichens favor... This pattern has been noted for decades, but never quantified until now"

Dinosaur on the Move in Essex, 1973
On January 31, 1973, a large, fibreglass model of a dinosaur, a Cetiosaurus, was transported through Essex on its way from Ramsgate, Kent, to Aviemore, Scotland.
The 16-foot-high and 45-foot-long model was created by a Mr. Alan Ross, who was planning to open a prehistoric park in Scotland.
