Statt die Reichen mittels Vermögens- und anderen Steuern kräftig zur Kasse zu bitten, was das Urteil erlauben würde, will die schwarz-rote Regierung nun bei #Sozialleistungen und #Klimamaßnahmen kürzen und zugleich Milliarden in die Aufrüstung pumpen.“ 3/4

Und die #G20 schlug Ende 2024 ebenfalls eine globale Milliardärssteuer vor – was #Trump natürlich sofort sabotierte.
Dabei würden die Superreichen eine zweiprozentige Vermögenssteuer wahrscheinlich noch nicht einmal bemerken. Wohlgemerkt: Unter den US-Präsidenten Franklin #Roosevelt und Dwight #Eisenhower waren Spitzensteuersätze über 90 Prozent möglich. Sie sorgten ab den 1930er Jahren für eine gigantische #Umverteilung, den Aufbau einer großen Mittelschicht und mutmaßlich sogar für die Verhinderung des #Faschismus in den #USA." 4/4
