Lazarus began and ended like nothing. The Watanabe hype train delivered some good fights and fancy CGI, other than that, easily the worst of the year.
The #anime#Lazarus was such a disappointment! The beginning was super strong, then there were so many episodes where nothing happened, lots of tangential stories that led nowhere, no development of characters, and the end was so anticlimatic that it was confusing. 💯 % agree with Screenrant's review, the time wasted watching it was sunk cost fallacy. The only thing that stays is the music, which now feels like a theft (K.Washington, Boo Radleys...)
