@arstechnica They have to just be bleeding money. I ran some back of the napkin numbers based on pricing and estimated subscribers in the U.S. when they announced the #F1 deal, and they'd basically need to double their paid subscriber base here to break even on that alone.

I'm excited to see how they can grow the sport because it's very underappreciated, but I am not excited for the glamification that will make it appeal to the American audience. As happened with F1.
