After volunteering, I paid my respects to the defenders in Independence and Mykhailivska Squares 🕯️. I then took a walk and stumbled upon The Landscape Alley Parks, where a giant mosaic #cat made me smile.🐱
➡️ But more importantly, I saw Ukrainians from all walks of #life going about their day as normally as possible—a testament to their refusal to cower in the face of Russian aggression.
✨Tomorrow, I'll begin a new day of #humanitarian volunteering.

After a morning of volunteering and a long bus ride from Kharkiv, I've made it to Kyiv. It's late evening now—time to rest and recharge. 🛌

It’s Day 4 here, and I’m starting the morning with a bit of volunteering at Chervona Kalyna. Later today, I’ll be 🚌heading to Kyiv to support other small local Ukrainian groups, but first, I’m making a stop to support local businesses at this beautiful marketplace.

In all, ofcls said, #Russia launched 598 drones & 31 missiles in the overnight strikes on #Kyiv & other cities, & Ukrainian defenses shot down 563 drones & 26 missiles.
President #Zelensky of #Ukraine said that the Russian bombardment was the Kremlin’s answer to the recent diplomatic attempts to halt the fighting.
“Russia chooses ballistics instead of the negotiating table. It chooses to continue killing instead of ending the war. And this means that Russia still does not fear the consequences.”
An hourslong barrage of Russian missiles & drones killed at least 14 people in #Ukraine’s capital, including 3 children, early Thurs. The attack, which they said also injured at least 45, was the largest on Kyiv since #Trump’s meeting with #Putin of #Russia nearly 2 weeks ago.
A 5-story apartment building was destroyed & other homes were damaged. A missile also hit a shopping mall in central #Kyiv & a #EU mission building was damaged.
