The Even Realities G1s totally deserve THREE major design awards! They're my daily pair of glasses and always surprise people with how they look like a normal pair of glasses. If only they had speakers and/or a camera and they'd be perfect.

Being able to run Mentra OS on them is also a major plus, even though I'm sure that wasn't on the awards criteria 😅

The biggest issue with Meta's new smart glasses is how they normalize surveillance and recordings. If we aren't careful, we'll soon accept it, just as we have accepted CCTV cameras in most public squares.
